Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Biosel website and the Solar Studio subscription service. Please read them carefully; by using these Services you accept them.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Biosel Solar Pvt. Ltd. ("Biosel", "BSPL", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in India. They apply to the website at biosel.in, the Solar Studio application and related pages (together, the "Services"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02Use of the site

You may use the Services for lawful, professional and business purposes only. You agree not to:

03Intellectual property

The Services and their content — including text, design, code, graphics, logos and the Biosel and Solar Studio names and marks — are owned by Biosel or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms and your plan. Project data and designs you create in Solar Studio remain yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate the service on your behalf. EPC project work is governed by its own separate written contract, not by these Terms.

04Solar Studio subscriptions

Solar Studio is provided on a subscription basis. The following terms apply to all Solar Studio plans.

Free trial

New users may start a 7-day free trial, with no card required. At the end of the trial, access continues only if you choose a paid plan. We may modify or withdraw trial offers at any time.

Plan tiers

Solar Studio is offered in several tiers, currently:

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of GST, which is charged where applicable. Prices and tier features may change; changes will not affect the current paid term you have already been billed for.

Billing via Razorpay

Subscription payments are processed securely by Razorpay, our payment partner. By subscribing you authorise Biosel, through Razorpay, to charge the applicable fee at the start of each billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Card and payment details are handled by Razorpay under its own terms; we do not store full card details.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it ends.

Refunds

Because a free trial is provided so you can evaluate Solar Studio before paying, fees are generally non-refundable and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time once a billing period has started. Where Indian consumer law requires a refund, or in cases of a duplicate or erroneous charge, we will process the refund through Razorpay to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

Design tool & SCADA disclaimer

Solar Studio's design, sizing, single-line-diagram, yield-estimate and SCADA/monitoring features are engineering aids provided for convenience. Outputs are estimates that depend on the inputs and assumptions you provide and may not reflect site-specific conditions. They do not replace a stamped engineering design, a site survey, or professional judgement, and must be independently verified by a qualified engineer before being used for procurement, construction or operation. Biosel is not liable for decisions made solely in reliance on the tool's outputs.

05Disclaimers & "as-is"

The Services and their content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any result or estimate will be accurate.

06Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biosel and its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, generation or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Solar Studio subscription in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

07Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Biosel and its personnel from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.

08Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable law, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
